There was a fantastic attendence at the 2010-2011 State Duathlon Championships, held on Saturday 10th October. Although the weather was a little threatening to start, it held off for the duration of the event. Racing was hotly contested in both ‘Open’ and ‘Age Group’ categories and spectators were able to enjoy the specticle due to the lay out of the course at the Champion Lakes venue.
Feedback from the participants confirmed approval for running a Duathlon before the main season as a test of their fitness and the opportunity to prepare for the season ahead.
