RAF BAUGH EXCELS IN EUROPE

 

TWA Duathlete, Raf Baugh, has had some recent success racing on the European Duathlon circuit.  TWA would like to congratulate Raf on achieving a 3rd Place at the Gernika International Duathlon in Spain and another 3rd place at the ITU European Duathlon Championships in Limerick, Ireland.  GO RAF!!

2XU 70.3 Busselton/TWA Member Prize Draw

 Nicole Debono is the winner of the 2XU Wetsuit from our 70.3 Busselton/TWA lucky member competition. Congratulations to Nicole, she will definately perform and feel great in her New 2XU Wetsuit. Thankyou to all who took part.

Ashlee Bailie Selected to represent Australia

Congratulations to Ash Bailie who has been selected to represent Australia at the Junior World Championships in China later this year. 

She is the first WA junior to wear the green and gold since Liz Blatchford in 2000.

Her selection comes from the results she achieved in the Australian National Junior ITU Championships and a podium 2nd in Geelong.

Below are the names of those chosen for the Australian Junior Team to represent Australia at the ITU Beijing World Triathlon Championships in September.

2011 School Sport Australia Triathlon Championships

TWA would like to congratulate all the junior athletes that represented WA at the recent School Sport National Championships in Redcliffe, QLD from March 31st – April 1st.

The Western Australia Schools triathlon team had one of their best ever results.  The championships consist of individual races in junior, intermediate and senior categories as well as a teams race where one athlete swims, another cycles and the third runs.  Click here to read the race report for the event.
