Training Squad – IM70.3 Busselton
Hello 2012 Busselton IM 70.3 athlete in waiting.
My name is Bradley Hosking, I am a level 1 triathlon coach with a combined six years worth of coaching and racing experience in everything from sprint to full Ironman distance. Over this time it has been the half (70.3) and full Ironman distance format which I have developed both my skill set and passion for. With this experience, knowledge and passion, I now wish to focus my coaching energy towards helping other like minded athletes in their quest to reach and surpass their own personal goals and dreams.
I operate under the title of ‘The Sixth Discipline’ where my motto is ‘Putting the pieces together.’ If you’re looking to prepare for and execute the perfect race, then there is much to know. The ability to not only highly execute the disciplines of swim bike and run, but do it in a context of mental and physical toughness and fortitude, will require many I’s to be dotted and T’s to be crossed.
So how can The Sixth Discipline help you?
Well, I know these I’s and T’s and I learnt and earned them whilst working shift work, raising two young girls and with a full time working wife, so as a day to day age grouper having to engage in this kind of pursuit, I’m qualified to say…I understand intimately what goes into it and what is required.
Fresh off the back of an incredibly successful 2011 IM squad, it is my intention to once again formulate a squad of like minded and dedicated individuals to this time take on the exhilarating challenge of the Busselton Ironman 70.3.
If you are committed and focused towards achieving goals and passionate about the challenge that long course triathlon offers, then you’re almost what I’m after. If you can compliment this with a genuine desire to be the best you can be within an environment of fun, friendship and accountability…then you’re exactly what I’m after. This being the case, you will find yourself surrounded by a highly motivated and committed group of people, who like you will be solely focused on preparing for a cracker of a race on May 5 2012.
The adventure will commence on Mon Feb 6 2012 and run for 13 weeks consisting of 3 by 4 week phases plus 1 week taper. Should you choose to participate, you will as a squad member receive ongoing personalised coaching, tuition and assistance, with access of up to 5 coached sessions per week.
I don’t care how long it takes you to complete a race like the 70.3, I only ask that you’re a committed, motivated and fun loving individual who’s willing to work hard towards the goals that you’ll set.
If you, or someone you know is doing the 2012 Busselton IM 70.3 and feel you or they may be interested, then please contact me at brad@t6d.com.au or 0407 944 004, for further information.
I Look forward to hearing from you in the hope that you’ll be a part of this awesome opportunity.
Sincerely
Bradley Hosking
